Basix Skin Defence Cream contains 13 powerful active ingredients which work together to repair and condition the skin. Powerful anti-bacterial, anti-oxidants, anti-inflammatory and natural plant steroids, help heal broken, dry and damaged skin.

• African Sausage Tree Fruit (Kigelia Africana) - Contains sitosterol and stigmasterol - natural plant steroids that can treat skin complaints such as eczema, psoriasis and dermatitis. Flavonoids such as luteolin and 6 hydroxluteiolin are used for their natural antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties, and as fungicides to treat bacterial or fungal infections.
• Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Fruit Extract -Rich in phytochemicals like gallic and ellagic acids, it provides antibacterial, antiviral, anti-fungal, anti-inflammatory, anti-tumour, and anti-mutagenic properties to help repair damaged skin.
• Citrus Medica Limonum (Lemon) Extract - High levels of Vitamin C – an effective anti-oxidant.Citric acid helps shed dead skin cells. Provides a gentle astringent effect that causes skin cells to close large pores.
